IP Address
An IP (Internet Protocol) address is a unique numerical identifier assigned to every device connected to the internet. It is used to identify and communicate with devices on the internet. IP addresses can be either IPv4 or IPv6, with IPv4 being the more common format consisting of a series of four numbers separated by periods.
Every website, server, and network device on the internet has its own unique IP address. When you enter a web address (URL) into your browser, your computer sends a request to the web server at that IP address, which then responds by sending the requested webpage or data back to your computer.
