Website Terminology Glossary
An iframe (short for inline frame) is an HTML tag used to embed another document within the current HTML document. This allows you to display content from another website or page within your own web page.
An example of using an iframe would be embedding a YouTube video on your website. You can use an iframe to display the video player and video content directly on your web page, without having to redirect users to YouTube.
Another example could be embedding a Google Map on your website, where you can use an iframe to display the map on your page instead of linking to the Google Maps website.
iframes are useful for integrating content from other websites or web pages into your own website, without having to duplicate or recreate the content yourself.
